Terms of Service

1. Service
URLSnap provides a web API for generating screenshots, PDFs, metadata extraction, and related services. By using the API, you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts & API Keys
You must provide a valid email to receive an API key. You are responsible for keeping your key secure. Do not share your key publicly. We may revoke keys that appear compromised or abused.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to capture illegal content
- Attempt to bypass rate limits or abuse the infrastructure
- Resell access to the API without authorization
- Use the service in a way that degrades it for other users
4. Billing & Refunds
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel anytime — access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of charge. Contact support@urlsnap.dev.
5. Data Handling
Screenshots, PDFs, and extracted content are streamed directly to you and not stored on our servers. We store your email, API key, and usage logs. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Uptime & Liability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The API is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Intellectual Property
You own the output generated through the API (screenshots, PDFs, etc). We retain rights to the service, code, and documentation. You may not reverse-engineer the API.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your API key is deactivated and data is deleted within 30 days.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are communicated via the email on your account. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lithuania.
