When you register for an API key, we collect:

• Email address — to create your account and send your API key
• API usage data — endpoints called, URLs submitted, request counts, response times
• IP address — for rate limiting and abuse prevention

We do not collect names, phone numbers, physical addresses, or payment card details. Payments are handled by Stripe.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Deliver the API service and send your API key
• Track usage for plan limits and billing
• Send transactional emails (key delivery, billing)
• Prevent abuse and enforce rate limits

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.

3. Third-Party Services

• Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy)
• Brevo — transactional email (brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy)
• Hetzner — server hosting, EU-based (hetzner.com/legal/privacy-policy)

4. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored on servers in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany). All API traffic uses encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). API keys are stored as-is to enable delivery — treat your key as a secret.

5. Data Retention

• Account data — retained while your account is active
• Usage logs — retained for 90 days, then deleted
• Screenshot/PDF output — not stored. Output is streamed directly to you.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for communications

7. Cookies

URLSnap does not use cookies or client-side tracking. We do not use analytics scripts.
